Thanks for visiting

director producer storyteller

Storytelling is central to my life – whether that’s a brilliant novel, a brand new play or just a wee gossip with my mates, I feel that stories are what help people connect. Using theatre as a tool to connect people is the core of my creative practice. I believe honouring authentic voice allows us to be exposed to stories that often go underrepresented which gives us the opportunity to develop and transform our communities.

I have been incredibly fortunate to work as the creative producer of Without Compromise Theatre since the company formed. WCT is a grassroots theatre company that is dedicated to telling working-class stories with lived-experience at it’s core. I have also been fortunate to work on a number of projects as a freelance director and have spent the past year developing my practice at Edinburgh Napier University on their MFA Directing course.
